Aquabotz in Action

On December 3, 2015, Chestertown Christian Academy’s Physical Science and Biology classes traveled to the Casey Swim Center on Washington College’s campus to participate in a hands-on Aquabotz program. This program is made possible by the Chester River Watershed Observatory. Working in teams, our students built remotely operated underwater vehicles from basic materials. “These underwater robots, allow students to monitor water and air temperature, conductivity, salinity, and dissolved oxygen, and view the data online”.
